Event overview: The ED can sometimes feel like the twilight zone, a hinterland where the casualties of society with intractable problems, that no-one else can solve, wash up for you to deal with. Everyone can feel isolated in this environment and may even question the difference they make.
This day aims to change the way you think about this and celebrate the good work you do. It will also provide some examples of how others can help to make a difference to your patients that you might have not thought possible.

Key Speakers
Dr Adrian Plunkett, Birmingham Children's Hospital presenting on 'Learning from Excellence'.
Dr Rowan Wallace, Consultant in medicine for the elderly and 'Frailty Pathway Guru''.
Dr Chris Turner presenting on 'Creating an excellent learning culture in the ED'.
Anne Pittams, Child Protection, presenting on 'Teenage sexual exploitation, what you need to know'.
